Hi everybody, here is a little topic about how to make a spring harvest :
If you live somewhere the weather is nice (I am in the South-West of France), or if you can keep your plants from freezing, you can try this method :
By the middle of february I sprouted 10 seeds of Bahia Black Head, I grew them about 1 month under first a 200W eco-light blue then 15 days under a 400W HPS. I got 4 females, I killed the males, and between the 19/03/2006 and the 22/03/2006 I put the females into the mother Earth of my garden, under the big halide in the sky...The result is I have now harvested 2 among the 4 Bahia Black Heads, I hope to get about 150 grams on them 2. And I made the trimming today of a cutting of KC36 that has received the same treatment, something like 15 or 20 grams of mandarine smelling very good weed.
So, this method can work and give you a harvest before the end of may, then you still have all the time to complete your automn final harvest ! But it don't works everytime, remember for example it works with a female that has had 18 hours of light a day during a least one month, not everytime even if the photoperiodicity is close to 12 Hours a day by the 21th of March (l'équinoxe mes amis, équinoxe de printemps, ma préférée, surtout quand elle coïncide presque avec une pleine lune). It works better with female cutting that have had a long life with a 18 hours daily cycle...
As you read, I harvested some 165 grams of very beautiful weed (didn't taste it yet still drying) before the end of may, I will have the Bahia Black Heads n°3 & 4 harvested before the automn I think, and to insure an automn harvest I started some Hashberry (mandala seeds) and some Leda Uno (KC Brains again) outdoor, selected the females killed the males and planted them into the garden...
