Reposté aujourd' hui sur IC car ces données avaient été perdues du a un effacement du subforum Reservoir..Rezdog a écrit :Hi Guys!
The info regarding The Sour Diesel IBL Project was all posted here at IC Mag,but sadly it went into the irreversible shitter when my forum was "deleted" due to a security concern several years ago.
Here's a bit of how it started, back about seven years ago:
= THE SOUR DIESEL IBL PROJECT =
Sour Diesel Clone x NYC Diesel = Double Sour Diesel
(DSD or DSDv1)
Sour Diesel Clone x DSD = SD BX 1.5
Sour Diesel Clone x SD BX 1.5 = SD BX 2.5
SD BX 1.5 x SD BX 1.5 = ECSDv3
....and then after ECSDV3 there were several more generations in the Breeding Process before The Sour Diesel Clone was really, really stabilized in seed form and the seeds were officially labeled "IBL" and released.
That late breeding info is Very Proprietary to Reservoir Seeds. Overall,I'm generally pretty open about the earlier stages of any of Reservoir's Projects-it's the latter stages I don't discuss-I don't need any "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" knock-off bullshit.
As I learned more over seven years of Sour Diesel Projects,I refined my techniques on The Chemdog IBL Project....
The Chemdog IBL Project was based on direct line-breeding.
Line-breeding is not a "road map" as to how Reservoir does what it does,it's only a list of steps to the seeds that one would need to select from,to attempt to isolate a target clone's best genetic traits. If you select a poor P1 Dad for the initial out-cross,then you're fucked for the whole Project-you should know if that's the case from the results of the first back-cross. (BX)
If your results are favorable, continue,if not, quit while you're ahead and move on to the next Project.
Line-breeding is a big part of it,and selection is the other.
Oh,and knowing exactly which lines to inbreed to get a homogeneous, stabilized inbred line based solely on a Target Clone's Most Favorable Traits helps, too. Reservoir extensively line-bred,and then re- (AND RE!) -selected from the very best of the line selections,to very selectively inbreed the CHEMDOG IBL Line. That's saying a lot,and telling you little.
Developing The STIP (Superior Trait Isolation Process) has been a blast, and further refining of it is My Pleasure.
STIP is a living, breathing Process, and it morphs and grows with every generation of every Project.
Good,clean fun-no doubt about it!
For next IBL Project,I'm going to take STIP to a new level and produce an(other) "elite" variety (hint: it's not currently available in M/F seed form) and probably the most widely sought-after variety in the world-and I expect to do this in record time. How? A seriously refined [/i]process[/i].
When you finally read about what Reservoir has in store, you guys will be as excited about this new Project as Reservoir is. I actually talked about it in some detail in IC chat the other night, but am not posting on it until The Kush Projects Reservoir is currently working on,are done....
Cheers!
My SSH Mom,in my opinion,is an absolutely "picture-perfect" example of what a REAL "haze" plant should be.
She came from a first-gen pack of GHS' SSH,and I suspect the seeds were a "pure" haze,as all the moms were identical, and indica-free.
I've smoked, literally, hundreds of "hazes" and haze hybrids over the last two decades, and I think this particular cut best epitomizes what is "Haze".
As you can see, there's NO indica in her, nothing but equatorial sativa all over. Anything less than 1000w HPS',& you won't reach max potential. Great smoke, tastes like pure,sandalwood-infused sativa.
Again,nice job MP-Enjoy!

****Mad props to Shanti for the initial seeds....

Hi All!
Here's the official lineup for Reservoir Seeds 2011 Kush Lines, sans a few possible surprises....
Background: Reservoir's HK father(s) are carefully selected from Reservoir's self-inbred,landrace Hindu Kush line, originally sourced from Sensi Seeds stock several years ago.
I'm not bothering with "flower time projections",retail price Qs & what-not right now. I thought I'd drop a taste of what's in store for fresh genetics sometime after The IC420 Cup from Reservoir Seeds.
More info will come,never fear!
....Without much more ado, here's The List.
